New technologies often require innovation drivers who believe in them. In a tech startup, every new idea also needs supporters and partners on the customer side who are enthusiastic about the products, integrate them into their everyday business, and develop them further. For the last 11 years, Rolf Hennes from Stadtwerke Bonn has been such an innovation driver for GreenPocket On the occasion of his retirement, we would like to say thank you.
We have been working with Stadtwerke Bonn (SWB) since 2010. As one of the first customers of GreenPocket Rolf Hennes is the reason why Stadtwerke Bonn has become an established existing customer long ago. Out of 49 years of professional experience, he worked for almost 40 years for municipal utilities and was lastly given the task of taking care of smart meters in 2010: "You now do everything what is smart" - and that is what Mr. Hennes did. That is how Stadtwerke Bonn and GreenPocket came together.

As the supervisor for our EnergyCockpit for both private and business customers, he has always supported transparency in energy management and saw our software solutions as a key driver for a more sustainable approach to energy.
"Ease of use, extensive analysis functions and individual further development"
- already in the joint interview in 2015, he got into the advantages of our products, which have since been expanded with numerous functions for more detailed analyses or for more customer loyalty.
At this point, , we would like to thank Mr. Hennes not only for the many years of intensive cooperation, but also for the constant inspiration, motivation, and enthusiasm for our mission to make energy management transparent and simple. We were able to learn a lot from and with each other.
A FUN COOPERATION BASED ON PARTNERSHIP
However, it was not only on a technical level that we were always able to engage in lively discussions with Mr. Hennes. Also, on a personal level, working together with him and his likeable, Rhenish manner was always a pleasure. Since for Mr. Hennes a partnership based on trust was always the most important thing, he never saw us as a "service provider", but as a reliable partner. Given that we at GreenPocket also live exactly these values, the cooperation with Mr. Hennes has simply fit from the beginning. Therefore, we will remember "colleague Hennes" more as a colleague than as a customer.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers who, are committed to transparent energy management like Rolf Hennes, who work with us to digitize the energy industry and create a more sustainable future, and with whom it is simply fun to work together as equals.

And since now also the 1st FC Cologne (how could one not be a fan of this club with that name) stays in the 1st league, we also wish a lot of fun with the coming season and all other hobbies, for which now finally enough time remains!
