At the beginning of October GreenPocket was able to participate as a speaker at the energy congress of the FDP State Parliament fraction NRW as well as at the annual conference "EXPORT ENERGY - Rediscover Europe! The two events served as a platform for startups from NRW (State in Germany) to exchange information about innovations and business models in the energy industry as well as internationalisation strategies.

The FDP' (german party) "Innovation Pitch" on October, 8th in the Düsseldorf State Parliament was aimed specifically at the politically interested public, in particular with an interest in energy, the environment and innovations. Our managing director, Dr. Thomas Goette, presented the energymanagement of tomorrow under the topic "Intelligence in energy data - a startup is waiting for the Smart Meter Rollout". A special focus was on the effects and contradictions of the roullout of smart meter in Germany. The other pitches and lectures also provided an interesting insight into the startup landscape in NRW.

Under this slogan, the EnergyAgency.NRW invited to the Derag Livinghotel De Medici Düsseldorf, Germany on October, 9th, where various companies from NRW presented their strategies for entering foreign energy markets. Business Development Manager Beatrice reported on our market entry strategies and strategic approaches in the US energy market (see our visit to the event in Denver).
Stephanus Lintker, head of the organization "EnergyAgency.NRW", particularly emphasised that the aim of the conference was to increase the growth and productivity of small and medium-sized NRW companies in the energy sector through their participation in world trade. Our Business Development Manager was able to take along many new impulses and interesting contacts from the exciting event.
